The only fee you pay Happy Drivers Ed is the cost of the course itself. There is no separate program packet to order and no hidden charges from us. However, you will pay the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) when you apply for your license.
DPS Licensing Fees
These fees are paid directly to DPS when you visit to apply for your driver license (or an optional learner permit). They are not part of the course price.

Paid to DPS when you apply for your license
The learner permit is optional for adults. If you go straight for your license without a permit, you pay the license application fee only. If you get a permit first, the later license application fee may be reduced.
